As many of you know, our community has grown exponentially over the last two months. This has allowed us to reach larger audiences and more importantly, given us the opportunity to make even greater donation amounts and support more organizations. Last month we set a new 2020 record, donating over $1700.

We knew as this community grew, we would need to be able to continue our engagement with its members. Though many consider us educators, we are not. Instead, we actively learn from within this community and do not want any form of growth to stunt or derail our continued learning and engagement. So we got help.

Meet Camryn Bruno:

Camryn is the 2019 NYC Youth Poet Laureate, A National Slam champion and an author. Camryn uses her platform to continue the needed work of activism and advocacy through spoken word poetry and media.

Camryn will take on many roles and responsibilities here at AHUS and we are ecstatic to have her join the squad. In the coming weeks, you will get to interact with and better know Camryn via email, and more regularly, on our social media platforms.

“I am so happy that there are socially conscious businesses like AHUS that believe in the importance of youth voice!” - Camryn
