How the Pandemic is Pushing the Houston Housing Crisis to the Edge

America has worked tirelessly for centuries to erase Black people after it received the work it wanted, giving little to no compensation in return. 

Egregious policies like redlining, restrictive access to quality medical care, and the lack of financial institutions in predominantly Black communities have created a lack of infrastructure. During a pandemic, this severe lack is even more prevalent and endangering. We are in the perfect storm despite already teetering with exhaustion to live.
