In July, war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu made an appearance on the floor of Congress, where he was greeted with a standing ovation, extended handshakes and even took selfies with US Representatives. Rashida Talib was not one of them.

Instead, Talib raised a Black sign that said, “Stop The Genocide” in white text. She witnessed, what we witnessed, a despicable act and refused to sit in silence in the face of it.

After, she tweeted, “Netanyahu is a war criminal committing genocide against the Palestinian people. It is utterly disgraceful that leaders from both parties have invited him to address Congress. He should be arrested and sent to the International Criminal Court.”
