Autumn Myers Joins AHUS as Media Correspondent
AHUS is proud to announce that Autumn Myers, creator, writer and editor of Queen Sessions, will become AHUS’ media correspondent for its blog page and all things media related for the brand.
Autumn has shown commitment to the brand through her volunteer efforts. In February, she was instrumental in our Representation Matters event, where we took over 160 young women to a private screening of the film, “A Wrinkle in Time.” In July, she also volunteered her services for our Women of Color Entrepreneur Evening in Brooklyn. There, she co-hosted the event and curated an evening to inspire women of color to network and learn the journeys of other professionals.
More recently, Autumn represented the brand in an interview with online publication, Makadrez. *Interview coming soon* Autumn shared the role she’ll have with the brand, plus the upcoming projects she has in store.
Never afraid of a challenge, Autumn hosted her first pop up shop at New York University last week. NYU got to know both the brand and Autumn and we were able to make a good impression. Look for us to be on campus again later this year.
Autumn is the epitome of smart, funny and Black! As EIC of The Queen Sessions, Autumn utilizes her platform for other women of color to project their voices in today's societies. TQS also touches on the everyday struggles experienced by WOC. Her writing and contributions have been included in Afro-Punk and That's Enuff, where she’s covered the culture, music, and more.
You can expect, no doubt, that Autumn will always go hard for those who share the same passion and ambition because like them she is passionate about her craft. Stay tuned to see uplifting articles, conversations, and more dopeness as she contributes to AHUS!
We are grateful to have her as part of the AHUS family.
