I lived to see Michael Vick’s fall over dogs and wake up to million dollar gofundme accounts for murderers of black folx. I know why people run when they haven’t committed a crime. I know why bodies stiffen in the presence of officers. I know why I don’t deserved to be dragged/beaten/stripped. I know how dehumanizing Institutions are. I know when you call them on their bullshit you become the assailant. Someone out there is going to be afraid to say the things that need to be said. That someone is not me.
